The Project Manager will manage capital projects from end to end. You could manage multiple projects or one large project at times, all in support of our manufacturing operations. This manager will maintain visibility to the design process and assure adherence to all established key components and project deliverables. You will directly manage overall project execution including scope, cost, engineering design review, bidding, construction, communication with key business stakeholders, and commissioning. You will organize work assignments for the cross-functional teams executing these projects as well.
A day in the life of a
• Develop project management plans and maintain milestone schedules
• Execute the basic and detailed design of the project based on Nestlé Corporate Business Principles, Nestlé standards, local regulations, the defined User Requirements Specifications and the TPM characteristics of a unit operation (safety, quality, affordability, maintainability, operability and reliability). Ensure by design the workers, and operators, safety during both the construction and the ongoing operation of the plant.
• Lead the team and coordinate the contribution of all stakeholders to ensure the project implemented in accordance with the defined timing, cost and quality, the required corporate and category standards (i.e. URS )and the characteristics of a unit operation.
• Manage adherence to project scope and secure approvals for all changes
• Manage and control project budget, cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and status reports
• Be the project team leader, meaning integrating, motivating, feed backing, coaching, developing, managing and evaluating team members and being their support and liaison with the steering committee and all the project's stakeholdersWhat will make you successful
Previous project management experience ideally within FMCG of 5 years is required. However, if you have comparable relevant experience coupled with the energy, drive, leadership planning and communication skills we need, you may still want to consider this role.
You have excellent project management skills, an ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both orally and in writing, coupled with a "can do" problem solving approach and a real eye for detail.
You will be a fast learner in order to master quickly tools and processes that assist project delivery.Your English and French are Fluent
