Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 5 PM, Flexible 8-hour workday

Manatee County Development Services works with the property owners and contractors, to strategically move projects and the county forward. From our planning division where we conduct zoning and address environmental reviews to our building division where ideas take shape. Engineering Technician DOQ, Development Review Division, works with other Development Review members to complete the review of roadway, stormwater, and utility infrastructure components for conformance with local and state codes, ordinances, and standards.

TECH II: High school diploma or equivalent. Two or more years of work experience related to area of assignment.
TECH III: High school diploma or equivalent. Three or more years of work experience related to area of assignment.
SENIOR TECH: High school diploma or equivalent. Four or more years of work experience related to area of assignment.
All levels require a driver's license with valid Florida driver's license within 30 days of hire.
A comparable combination of education, training, and work experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position, may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.About the company
