- Guide the B2C Portfolio: consumer identity, web, mobile, and consumer engagement
- Collaborate with senior leaders to build trust, formulate strategy, develop architectures and roadmaps, build business cases, and prioritize investments
- Collaborate with software development and business operations teams to develop solution and software architectures
- Develop and lead a virtual team of B2C solution architects
- Operate confidently across a fast-growing, entrepreneurial organization to build consensus and solve problems
- Perform full-stack enterprise architecture: business, data, application, and technology
- Perform full-lifecycle enterprise architecture: strategy and architecture development, implementation planning and oversight, and architecture change management
- Improve architecture standards, processes, methods, and toolsets
- Travel less than 10%
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Information Management or Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of total experience, with 4+ years in an architecture role
- Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration, relationship-building, networking, influencing, leadership, prioritization, and project management skills
- Experience organizing and facilitating collaborative and rapid design and review processes
- Excellent spoken, written and graphic communication skills; ability to present, negotiate and influence at C-level
- Experience building an enterprise technology roadmap and overseeing its implementation
- Experience with agile software development methods
- Experience with cloud migration or cloud-native development
- Experience developing back-end architectures that enable scalability to serve millions of online users
- Thorough knowledge of web and mobile development, including the ability to create prototypes and review code
- Broad knowledge of the full digital experience value chain including concept development, user research, UX design, technology development and testing as well as monitoring and analysis of usage and user sentiment.
- Familiarity with enterprise requirements and methods for securing sensitive data
- Experience in a highly regulated and information-centric industry such as consumer financial services
- You are a confident leader and change agent in complex, dynamic organizations
- You excel at building strong relationships at all organizational levels and using them to initiate and accelerate initiatives
- You relish the opportunity to solve both organizational and technical problems
- You have led both web and mobile development as an architect, manager or lead engineer
- You have shaped unified multi-channel consumer experiences spanning web, mobile and digital marketing
- You have at least fifteen years of relevant experience, including at least five years in leadership roles
- You understand how enterprise, solution, and software architecture can work together to accelerate product delivery, improve business agility, and increase technology ROI
- You are enthusiastic about systematic enterprise architecture. You have contributed to it and have experienced its value
- You are familiar with, or interesting in learning about, standards such as ISO 42010, TOGAF and ArchiMate, and tools such as Archi and LeanIX
- You have excellent spoken, written and graphic communication skills
