Job Description
- Req#: 26-07596
- Data entry, weekly inspections, and weekly validation of environmental checklists
- Manage the disposition of solid waste and recyclable materials
- Manage contractors for waste shipment and samples
- Asset Owner for Recycle Balers
- Waste and Recycling Program Owner (inspections, compliance reporting, DOT Shipping Papers, Waste Manifests)
- A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering preferred, but not required.
- Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or equivalent.
- 5 - 10 Years of Hazardous Waste, DOT and Waste Management experience.
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements of EPA (Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act), South Carolina Department Environmental Services, Chemical management.
- Areas of Expertise Hazardous Waste Management No 1 4 - 6 Year
