- Lead Epic full-lifecycle implementations including discovery and planning, design, build coordination, testing, go-live, and stabilization
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependency tracking for assigned Epic domain(s)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Epic workstream governance, providing clear status reporting, risk management, and issue resolution
- Facilitate collaboration across Epic application teams, clinical and operational stakeholders, IT leadership, and external vendors
- Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies, escalating issues as appropriate
- Manage scope, change requests, and project controls in alignment with client governance
- Support readiness planning, integrated testing, training coordination, and adoption activities
- Lead post-go-live stabilization efforts and transition planning
- Epic certification in the assigned application area
- Successful completion of at least two (2) Epic full-lifecycle implementations from initiation through go-live and stabilization
- Proven experience leading large, complex healthcare IT initiatives
- Strong understanding of workflows aligned to the assigned Epic domain
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and workstreams concurrently
- Strong communication, facilitation, and executive-facing presentation skills
- Experience operating effectively in hybrid and remote delivery environments
- Prior experience supporting New Epic installs rather than upgrades
- Experience with large integrated delivery networks or multi-hospital health systems
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Background working with Epic consulting partners or system integrators
- Familiarity with Epic implementation methodology, milestones, and governance models
- Revenue Cycle: Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Claims, Contracts, Health Information Management (HIM)
- Inpatient: ClinDoc, Orders, Stork, ASAP, OpTime, Anesthesia
- Ambulatory: EpicCare & MyChart
- Patient Access: Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central, Real-Time Eligibility (RTE)
- Ancillary / Specialty: Beacon, Beaker, Cupid, Radiant, Willow, Research, Dorothy

Epic Certified Implementation Project Managers
New Epic Install | East Coast Health System
Hybrid: Primarily Remote with Scheduled Onsite Support
Contract Duration: May/June 2026 - October 2027 (16+ months)
Position Overview
We are seeking Epic Certified Implementation Project Managers to support a large-scale New Epic implementation for a major East Coast health system. These roles will lead Epic full-lifecycle workstreams from planning and design through go-live and stabilization. Epic Project Managers will partner with executive stakeholders, clinical and operational leaders, Epic application teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery across scope, timeline, and budget. This is a hybrid role, primarily remote, with scheduled onsite support required at key phases of the implementation based on client needs including planning milestones, integrated testing, go-live, and stabilization.
