What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee full-cycle event management, including logistics for in-person and virtual events
- Lead virtual event production, ensuring technical aspects are handled smoothly
- Provide onsite support at high-priority events while representing the brand authentically
- Manage purchasing, vendor onboarding, and asset management for events
- Navigate compliance and regulatory frameworks related to event donations and documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Event Management, Hospitality, or Business Operations
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-volume event planning, preferably in a corporate or ed-tech environment
- Proven experience managing physical inventory, shipping/receiving, and warehouse coordination
- Ability to manage tight timelines with a strict 24-hour response service level agreement (SLA)
- Technical proficiency in platforms such as Google Meet, Streamyard, or YouTube
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in the education technology sector or similar industries
- Familiarity with procurement software, particularly Ariba
- Strong creative skills to suggest innovative ideas for event decor and swag
- Excellent collaboration skills with experience leading diverse teams
- Ability to analyze and implement feedback for continuous improvement in event execution
