What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the full global payroll lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple countries
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of U.S. and Canadian payroll compliance requirements
- Serve as the primary payroll partner to HR, Finance, and Procure-to-Pay teams
- Support and optimize payroll-related systems and integrations, driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead and develop an international payroll team, promoting high performance and accountability
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive payroll experience, including multi-country payroll operations
- Expertise in U.S. and Canadian payroll compliance
- Strong working knowledge of payroll systems and integrations, including Workday
- Proven leadership experience managing teams across locations/time zones
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) and/or CPM (Canadian Payroll Manager) certification
- Experience managing global payroll in a high-growth, multi-entity environment
- Direct experience implementing or optimizing Workday Payroll / Workday integrations
- Familiarity with SOX controls and payroll risk management
- Experience managing multiple payroll vendors/providers simultaneously
