What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with the Lead Product Manager to maintain a well-documented backlog ready for development
- Write clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria for product enhancements and technical requests
- Facilitate meetings with internal subject matter experts to gather context and document issues
- Support backlog refinement sessions and sprint planning to ensure stories meet the Definition of Ready
- Serve as a liaison between customer-facing teams and developers to ensure clarity before development begins
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, product support, customer success, or product operations in a SaaS, B2B, or ERP software environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clear documentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes, user stories, and backlog refinement
- Experience using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or Salesforce
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating meetings
- Knowledge of the security and alarm industry, business operations, or accounting software (AR, AP, inventory, service dispatch, etc.)
