Your new role – challenging and future-oriented As a Expert (f/m/d) in Battery Energy Storage (battery, power conversion system (PCS), and controls), every day is not the same in your multicultural team. You will be responsible with your colleagues for the development of the best-fit-solutions in Energy Storage for our global customers and make a significant contribution to the energy transition. With our Siemens Energy-wide collaboration, we combine various sustainable solutions to increase our customer happiness. • Markets and Regulation Professional (f/m/d): Defining, initiating, and advocating Battery Energy Storage System use cases in the context of hybridization, transformation of energy systems and infrastructure based on a clear understanding of the market, the revenue streams and if necessary, adoption of rules and regulations. • Portfolio Professional (f/m/d): Responsible for growing a sub-component or portfolio element to excellence. • Offer Engineer (f/m/d): Processing of extensive tenders with a focus on battery systems/PCS and integration of the storage solution into existing power plants, new builds, or infrastructure assets; Leading of the development and improvement of required Bidding tools are one of the fields of action. • Solution Engineer (f/m/d): Developing layouts, designs and integration of the individual components of a battery storage system and ensuring compatibility, i.e. battery system, PCS and control system. • R&D Engineer (f/m/d): Developing OPEX and CAPEX-optimized storage solutions in terms of quality, cost, and technical suitability. • Technical Procurement Engineer (f/m/d): Working on definitions of requirements, specifications, and test procedures for procurement of the main components. • Design engineer (f/m/d): Responsible for implementation and guidance of Basic & Detail Engineering activities. We don’t need superheroes, just flexible, smart, super minds: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, electrochemistry, mathematics, power electronics, automation, controls, or a similar field. • First experience in battery technology for storage application (battery, LV-inverter, transformer, or controls), battery systems, modules and subcomponents or power conversion systems (PCS) or controls (EMS, VPP, PCS – level). • Basic know-how about standards, regulations, grid codes and market requirements. • Knowledge in batteries and battery systems with focus on Lithium technology. • Understanding of battery degradation and life cycle behavior and resulting customer focused solution development. • Good communication and presentation skills and a self-organized way of working in an intercultural environment. • Fluent in English (mandatory); German skills are a plus.
