      GENERAL FUNCTION

      The Cash Coordinator is responsible for processing cash batches and researching as needed to apply the cash appropriately for assigned Team Vision locations. The coordinator will communicate with key partners, both internally and externally, to ensure all cash is applied in a timely manner on open receivables.

      MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Ensure timely cash processing to outstanding invoices in SAP for medical claims and the AS400 for routine vision claims, providing management daily status updates.
      • Researching and applying cash for both Payers and Members, identifying and documenting partial payments and denials and scanning completed batches into Filebound.
      • Run and work various AS400 queries for research each week to analyze in Microsoft Excel.
      • Quality Monitoring – Coordinator will monitor quantity and quality of the processes/projects and provide immediate feedback to the Supervisor / Manager
      • Review & Interpret Reports – Review, analyze and interpret reports to assure appropriate adjustments are made to processes and critical information is communicated upward to the supervisors/managers for continued success and improvement.
      • Assist Supervisor/ Manager as needed with special projects and training

      BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

      • High school degree
      • 0 to 2 years of experience in a data entry type role
      • Understand and honor high level of confidentiality
      • Able to quickly grasp and retain information and concepts
      • Able to multi-task and prioritize handling of issues
      • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
      • Knowledgeable in continuous improvement and problem solving
      • Strong analytical skills
      • Strong customer service

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

      • 2+ years of experience in a data entry type role
      • Knowledge of vision and /or insurance benefits
      • Knowledge or experience in cash processing
      • Proficient in Microsoft Excel application
      • Bachelor’s degree

      Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
