      Finance Manager

      We are offering one exceptional candidate the chance to be a Finance Manager who will be involved in the day to day running of the finance department.

We carefully handle alcoholic drinks in any quantity, from a single bottle to bulk, along any route, across all modalities.       We also transport the raw materials and packaging needed for crafting drinks, to help streamline our customers supply chains.       Key Responsibilities

      • Processing of creditors’ invoices.
      • Processing of cashbook entries as well as bank reconciliations at month end for current account, dollar account and call accounts.
      • Reconciliations of account receivable and accounts payable with age analysis and revaluations.
      • Reconciliations of GL salary accounts with payroll, provident fund, medical aid, provisions, insurance, entertainment and travel.
      • Preparation of month-end accounts and reporting to Director and General Manager.
      • Preparation of monthly assets with depreciation and reconciliation, including management of the IFRS16 Right of Use Assets.
      • Monthly I/C statement reports and balancing IC P&L and Balance Sheet to all other IC organisations.
      • Monthly submissions to Group via CODA / CREST / Teams Monthly forecast.
      • Reconciliation of VAT account and submission to SARS.
      • Manage and implement DHL Compliance and data protection within the company.
      • Quarterly Flexitank and Vinliner pricing calculations and spreadsheets, submitted to DTM.
      • Annual budget preparation and submission to CREST according to Group instructions and guidance from Finance Director, within time frames given.
      • Manage annual financial audit as well as internal financial audits.
      • Ensure all statutory returns are completed and filed.

      Professional Qualifications and Skills

      • Diploma / Degree in Finance or Accounting.
      • 3 - 5 Years’ experience in Finance or Accounting.
      • Experience with Pastel Evolution, CODA, Crest and Leap would be beneficial.
      • IFRS knowledge.
      • Independent, self-motivated worker.
      • Leadership skills.
      • Ability to enforce processes and procedure for the smooth operation of the department.
      • Excellent communication skills.
      • Attention to detail.
      • Valid drives licence
