- Providing technical accounting support and subject matter expertise for key stakeholders
- Actively monitor results against targets, assessing risks, opportunities, provide recommendations and challenge financial decision making.
- Manage the budget process for the area of the business this role supports
- Manage the forecasting process for the area of the business this role supports
- Lead the development of better ways of working and system/process improvement. Autonomously lead financial control, governance and integration for strategic programs for the area of the business this role supports.
- CPA/CA qualification
- Proven management and leadership skills with a strong emphasis on interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with complex organisations, preferably within the financial services and/or retail sector
- Proven background of driving organisational change and influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Project and team management experience
- Experience in preparing, reviewing and communicating reporting/presentations to senior leadership
- Broad range of finance experience, including strong accounting knowledge, commercial decision support and FP&A
