Essential Job Functions

Our ideal candidate would:

Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature. Complete workload within established timelines. Work independently and take appropriate actions within a given scope of authority. Adapt and adjust to change orders, availability of trucks/parts, prioritize and utilize down time appropriately.

• Installation of various essential parts on fire apparatus.
• Cutting, welding, drilling, prepare and paint holes as needed.
• Display responsible behaviors including attendance & punctuality, attention to detail & following directions.
• Open to change (positive or negative) & diverse perspectives.
• Work cooperatively with others to complete job assignments & resolve conflicts.
• Plan & prioritize work to manage time effectively & accomplish assigned tasks.
