Develop, maintain and implement safe, reliable and sustainable construction equipment maintenance programs, with the ability to forecast retirements, lease options, RO options, forecast yearly maintenance costs 1-3 years out, as well as tracking site equipment utilization and production
Develop, Maintain , and Implement Construction Services Fleet Tracking GPS program for utilization tracking
Collaborate with Department Managers to ensure adequate maintenance is being performed
Manage all fleet vehicles and trailers including CMV / DOT compliance
Collaborate with corporate fleet department for all Fleet and DOT compliance requirements
M anage the maintenance capital assets including a fleet of 200+ Total inventory of trucks, heavy equipment and support equipment
Collaboration with Construction Services Leadership to Manage and coordinate capital purchasing and retirement programs
Prepare capital budgets ranging from $500K to $15 Million
Build and submit both capital and OM&A budget request for 1-3 years out
Develop decision summaries for effective business strategies including capital investments ranging from $500K to $15 million
Collaborate with Construction Services planners and filed leadership for all rental and maintenance purchase orders
Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders including but not limited to contractors, suppliers, field employees, area management and senior management
Collaborate with Supply Change Management for Master Service Agreements, Suppliers Vendors, Sales, Rental, Maintenance agreements
Present construction strategies and options to leadership management teams including senior management
Research new construction industry technologies and effectively communicate options to leadership
Responsible for all types of reports, charts, presentations, statistics or any other document required or related to Construction activities (both internal and external)
Assists with the technical training required for specialized onboarding, such as, Excavation, Overhead Powerline Safety, Heavy Equipment Operation (Roll-Over Protection and Seatbelts), At Risk Slope Work
Work with internal and external customers and other stakeholders to ensure that expectations are aligned, identified and met or exceeded
Develop and maintain performance indicators for heavy equipment and fleet utilization that align project Performance objectives across Construction Services
Provide information for ongoing financial reports, progress reports, and cost / schedule projections.
Experience in heavy equipment operation would be beneficial
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, demonstrating the above requested qualifications
Strong construction background
Construction in pipeline or related industry with an understanding of construction equipment and qualification programs
Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Windows, Power Point, Project, TELIOS, Primavera P6).
Post-secondary education
Construction budget experience
Formal or Informal leadership experience
High degree of safe and reliable construction understanding
Ability to effectively communicate programs to senior leaders
Proven time management, organizational and planning skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to positively engage others, specifically with change management
Demonstrated level of knowledge with respect to pipeline construction activities
Proven team player with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and the ability to manage data sets obtained from various data sources.
Ability to work away from home for extended periods of time, with travel up to 50%.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the US Construction Services Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and management of the equipment and fleet vehicle program. Additionally, this person will coordinate and manage the capital purchasing program for Construction Services.
