  Construction General Laborer

  What You’ll Do

  As a General Laborer, you’ll play a key role in supporting insulation projects that improve energy efficiency and system performance. Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Installing insulation on pipes, ducts, and mechanical systems
  • Cleaning and preparing surfaces to ensure proper insulation application
  • Measuring, cutting, and fitting insulation materials to precise specifications
  • Assisting experienced insulators with material handling and tool setup
  • Maintaining tools and keeping the job site clean and organized
  • Following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE at all times

  What We’re Looking For

  Required:

  • Experience in construction or general labor
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work safely in an active construction environment

  Preferred (but not required):

  • Experience with insulation or mechanical systems
  • Willingness to learn a skilled trade and grow within the company

  Work Environment

  You’ll work on active construction sites where safety is a top priority. Required PPE includes steel-toed boots, hard hat, high-visibility clothing, and safety glasses. Before starting, you should have:

  • Steel-toe boots
  • Tape measure
  • Red aviation snips
  • Small channel locks

  Job Type & Location

  This is a Contract position based out of Nevada, IA.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
