      Job summary

      An exciting opportunity has arisen at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare Trust for a motivated and dynamic individual to join theEmergency Department. The environment is busy and fast paced but also rewarding. Working with you will be the GIM Operational Lead and Service Manager for ED.

      As a key member of the Medicine Division Management Team. The role will be responsible for providing patient centred operational and strategic business planning and leadership to ensure that the Emergency department achieves their agreed performance objectives and national targets within the resources available.

      This is a permanent post and the successful candidate will assist the multi-disciplinary teams to perform at their very best and will provide proven operational, financial and performance management with developed leadership and influencing skills. There is an Operational Leadand Service Manager directly reporting to this post, to assist with the delivery of key performance indicators.

      All candidates should be able to demonstrate a commitment to improving the patient experience. You will need to be flexible, have proven management skills and a track record of operating at senior management level.
