  Job Description

  We are seeking dependable Production & Assembly Associates to support manufacturing operations at a growing facility in Bradenton, FL. This role is ideal for individuals looking for steady, full-time work in a clean, organized manufacturing environment with opportunities for long-term growth.

  Associates will work in awning and screen production, assisting with assembly, fabrication, and packaging of outdoor patio screen systems, including motorized components. This is a contract-to-hire role with consistent hours, PPE provided, and ongoing demand during peak production seasons.

  Responsibilities

  • Assemble awning and screening systems using hand and power tools
  • Assist with motorized component assembly into long tube systems
  • Measure, cut, and prepare materials (mesh, screens, fabric) to specifications
  • Operate basic fabrication and fabric welding equipment
  • Load finished products for shipping and staging
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety guidelines and production instructions

  Essential Skills

  • Experience using hand tools and basic power tools
  • Ability to perform general labor and assembly tasks
  • Comfort working in a manufacturing or warehouse setting

  • Ability to read instructions
  • Ability to read a tape measure (inches required)
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Comfortable standing and working on feet for full shifts
  • Warehouse, shipping, or sewing experience preferred (not required)

  Work Environment

  Work is performed in an open-bay manufacturing facility with multiple fans and strong airflow. The environment is clean, organized, and safety-focused. Employees work with awning and screen assemblies, motorized systems, and shipping materials. PPE such as safety glasses and gloves is provided.

  • Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (4–6 months initially)
  • Location: Bradenton, FL

  Pay and Schedule

  • Pay Rate: $18.00/hour (flat rate)
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week
  • Shift: As early as 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Overtime: Occasional overtime and Saturdays
  • Breaks:
    • 30-minute lunch
    • Two 15-minute breaks (9:00 AM and 2:00 PM)
