- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy related to Sustainability and QEHS aligned with the organization's goals and objectives
- Lead the Sustainability and QEHS team to drive all initiatives related to Sustainability and QEHS; ensuring that the organization meets the committed targets
- Responsible in leading the analysis to support any investment decisions leading to impacts and opportunities associated with Sustainability and QEHS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices and QEHS considerations into business operations, products, and services.
- Drive continuous improvement in QEHS performance, fostering and championing safety culture and environmental responsibility.
- Monitor and report on key Sustainability metrics and QEHS indicators, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, to promote sustainable practices and QEHS excellence.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging regulations, and innovative solutions related to sustainability and QEHS.

Your Mission
In this role, you will drive our sustainability and QEHS strategy across the organization and ensure Sustainability is clearly infused into our business strategy and ambitions. This role will be responsible for driving positive environmental and social impacts while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our products, services, and processes promoting ethical, environmentally responsible, and safe practices across all levels of the organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Your mission includes championing the importance of sustainability and QEHS throughout the company, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives, and serving as a leader who inspires and guides others toward a more sustainable and responsible future. Ultimately, the mission is to contribute to the company's long-term success by creating a more sustainable, safe, and quality-focused organization that positively impacts our employees, customers, communities, and the planet.
Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will be in the areas of sustainability, quality, environmental stewardship, health, and safety across our global operations.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you have substantial global experience in a corporate Sustainability and QEHS leadership role as well as extensive experience working at a senior level within the sustainability (or related) function managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. You have a record of implemented programs that have had impactful results on sustainability and safety.
You have Excellent knowledge and experience of GHG Protocol emissions, emissions management, Net Zero programs and SBTI targets.
As well as experience of hazardous industry and concrete evidence of Sustainability /EHS implementation projects; fire safety and quality management knowledge, whether it is management systems (9001,45001, 14001, 50001,27001 etc.) which are in the areas of quality, occupational safety, environment, energy management and information security which entails the requirement for the role to have a clear understanding of Governance. demonstrable technical knowledge of auditing and quality principles, desirable if they are within the manufacturing industry. Advantages to have a general knowledge of the general legislative requirements for the product, knowledge of chemical and mechanical properties as the role is a guarantor of some part of the product properties. Additionally you have a strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks, standards, and reporting methodologies (e.g., GRI, SASB, SDGs) and familiarity with QEHS regulations and standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001).
Since we are a global business, we want to see a proven ability to develop and implement impactful global sustainability and QEHS strategies and outcomes across multiple geographies and dimensions as well as experience of managing several sites internationally. We believe you are willing to travel globally, and you efficiently find ways to digitally collaborate across different time zones. We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or related field with a minimum of 12 years of documented relevant working experience preferably in a global setting. Candidates with experiences in hazardous industries are encouraged to apply.
In addition, we are searching for someone who has results-oriented project management capabilities, able to lead and execute effectively with capacity to translate big ideas into action, is a driver and easily can adapt to our agile and fast changing environment. You have excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills and a demonstrated ability to drive change, implement initiatives, and influence at all organizational levels. Experience with regenerative or circular solutions advantageous but not pre-requisite
Location for this position is home-office in either of following regions: Pune, India; Prague , Czech Republic; Slovakia; Poland, Katowice; Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) or Thailand (Bangkok).
This position reports to – Vice President PMO & Strategy , Dormer Pramet.
