Shape the Future: Develop and implement the R&D Quality strategy, vision, goals, objectives, and metrics for the Business Unit
Drive Excellence: Implement quality governance and strategies in R&D processes and projects, using methods like DFSS, CtQ, DFA, DFM, FMEA, and DoE
Lead Quality Initiatives: Provide direction for selecting appropriate quality methods, processes, and procedures across all global R&D locations to ensure customer requirements are met and verified
Collaborate and Innovate: Work proactively with other Business Unit Functions to ensure quality across the entire value chain. Guide and support R&D teams to deliver high-quality results in PPAP, 0-series process, and RCA
Enhance Processes: Drive process improvement through effective process definition, measurement, and controls
Ensure High Standards: Maintain high quality in the execution and assessment of the Gate model
Build a Community: Lead the development of the R&D Quality community within the R&D organization

Represent and Improve: Represent the Business Unit in the Company R&D quality team and support continuous improvement of Company tools and methods on R&D quality
Educational Excellence: Engineering graduate degree required, M.Sc. preferred
Experience Matters: Multiple years of experience in product development or quality & operations, with a preference for experience in both
Quality Expertise: Expert knowledge in design quality tools such as DFSS, CtQ, DFA, DFM, FMEA, and DoE
Six Sigma Certified: Six-Sigma green-belt or black-belt (or equivalent, e.g., Operational Excellence Program graduate) is desirable
Leadership Skills: Proven leadership, people management, and change management skills
Effective Communicator: Strong communication and influencing skills
Results-Oriented: Results-focused, action-oriented, and a self-starter
Analytical Thinker: Excellent analytical skills
Team Player: Able to organize and lead dispersed teams
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English
