      SUMMARY OF POSITION


      We are seeking a highly motivated student in Finance, Accounting, or Business with strong analytical skills. Our Government Pricing intern will support the team in administration of rebate programs by assisting with calculations, reporting, and data validation. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual looking to build a career in finance, accounting, or data analysis while gaining exposure to pricing and contracts.


      ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

      This role reports to the Manager, Government Pricing, and is based in the Morristown, New Jersey office.


      RESPONSIBILITIES

      Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:

      • Supporting the preparation of Managed Care, Medicaid, and other Government Rebate packages
      • Utilization of the Revenue Management system to understand how to process rebates effectively
      • Collaboration with internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations with cross-functional teams
      • Working in adherence with current work instructions and recommending processing improvements
      • Creating trending summaries and analysis of Rebate programs.
      • Observing experienced colleagues to acquire industry best practices and achieve proficiency in company software
      • Active participation in team meetings, contribution of ideas, and effective communication with clients or vendors
      • Maintenance of organized files and thorough documentation

      QUALIFICATIONS

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or General Business Studies.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Strong skills in Excel and other MS Office Suite applications
      • Ability to work independently
      • High level of attention to detail
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
      • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
      • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving abilities
      • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
      • Ability to commit to a specific duration of the internship
      • Good attitude and professionalism in the workplace
