      Title: Graphic Designer

      Reports to: Public Relations manager

      Job Description

      The Graphic Designer will create branded materials consistent with the nonprofit health system’s mission, vision, values and goals to enhance the system’s status among community, coworkers, recruits, donors, media and other key stakeholders.

      Must demonstrate an ability to collaborate with department leaders to create traditional and digital media, as assigned. Follows established brand management guidelines to maintain a comprehensive brand identity. Builds strong user experience by making visual connections to the brand.

      Ensures accuracy and quality of publications and standards for timeliness, quality, and cost-effectiveness are met on assigned projects.

      Responsibilities:

      • Creates original communications following an established brand look and feel across multiple channels, including print ads, brochures, magazines, newsletters, digital banner ads, flyers, signage, etc.
      • As staff photographer, serves as a key member of the health system storytelling team, developing messaging that increases awareness of the hospital's role in improving lives.
      • Designs internal communications to help staff stay informed of benefits and take pride in LRHS.
      • Designs collateral promoting community outreach such as health fairs and support groups.
      • Keeps abreast of industry trends and marketing/PR best practices.

      Education & Experience Requirements

      • Bachelor's degree in art, graphic design, advertising, communications or related field.
      • 3-5 years of experience in graphic art using related computer software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, and a working knowledge of printing processes.
