      Description

      This position is contingent upon successful contract award.

      Responsible for the end-to-end development of visual aids-ranging from intricate tactical illustrations to data-driven charts and graphs. Manage archive of multimedia assets that support the doctrinal development process.

      Job Roles & Responsibilities
      • Multimedia Development: Design and produce high-quality graphics, including charts, graphs, illustrations, and other visual aids. Ensure all visual products enhance the clarity and professional standards of official publications.
      • Technical Design Mastery: Utilize software suites-such as CorelDraw and Adobe Photoshop (CS5 or higher)-to create and manipulate complex vector and raster graphics.
      • Digital Asset Management: Maintain and organize digital archives, including high-resolution photographs, historical vignettes, videos, and categorized quotes for use in future publications and briefings.
      • Doctrinal Integration: Align all visual products with the Joint or Service doctrine development and publishing processes, ensuring that symbols, colors, and layouts comply with official military standards.
      • Visual Storytelling: Translate abstract strategic or operational concepts into digestible visual formats that support the "order and clarity" required for warfighter education.
      • Quality Control: Review all multimedia assets for technical accuracy and resolution standards before final submission to the publishing or web-management teams.
      • Travel may be required


      Requirements

      Experience Requirements:

      Candidates must demonstrate successful performance in at least two (2) of the following areas:
      • Graphic Design Expertise: Proven experience as a graphics and multimedia developer, with a specific portfolio showcasing the use of CorelDraw and Photoshop for professional publications.
      • Archival Management: Hands-on experience in the systematic maintenance of digital archives (including photo, video, and text-based assets).
      • Institutional Knowledge: Practical expertise with the nuances of the Joint or Service doctrine development and publishing cycles.
      • Technical Communication: Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to turn technical data into effective visual aids.

      Education & Experience Requirements
      • Associate Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
      • No degree required if the candidate possesses at least 5 years of demonstrated success in the graphic design and multimedia development areas listed above.

      Clearance Requirements: Possesses and maintain Top Secret Clearance ( SCI preferred )
