- Key Management: Responsible for receiving, labeling, and organizing keys and License Plates for new and used vehicles. They maintain an accurate log of keys and license plate is properly tagged and accounted for.
- Key Distribution: Facilitate the distribution of keys and license plates to appropriate personnel, such as sales staff, technicians, or porters.
- Security Measures: Implement and uphold security protocols to safeguard vehicle keys and license plates ensuring unauthorized access is prevented. This may involve maintaining a secure key storage area or utilizing key management software systems.
- Inventory Control: Regularly conduct inventory checks to reconcile the number of keys on hand with the dealership's records. Report any discrepancies or missing keys promptly to management.
- Coordination: Collaborate with various departments, including sales, service, and administrative staff, to fulfill key requests promptly and efficiently. Maintain effective communication to ensure smooth operations.
