  TEAM DESCRIPTION
  You are part of a global R&D team embedded in a strong, international research & development community with 250 international colleagues. We are business partners in the company and work closely with our stakeholders in a cross-functional partnership in order to quickly evaluate exciting ideas and opportunities and incorporate them into the internal development process.
  You report to the head of the dessert department and have cross-functional contacts, especially with marketing, controlling and production. You will lead a highly motivated and experienced development team.

  YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As our Product Development Group Leader, you will be responsible for planning, executing and monitoring product development and ensuring the achievement of innovation goals in the fresh desserts area.
  • You act as the technical and disciplinary leader of the product development teams for fresh products, plan further development measures and ensure compliance with occupational hygiene and safety.
  • You will assist in the testing and development of new products as well as the revision of existing products, taking into account cost effectiveness and resources.
  • Your tasks also include the planning, monitoring and on-site acceptance of initial productions as well as cooperation with production facilities.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for the development of formulations, process techniques and technologies and support the exchange of information at national and international level.
  • Reporting and project presentations as well as the preparation, execution and follow-up of audits complete your tasks.

  WHAT YOU BRING

  • You have successfully completed your university studies in Dairy Science and Technology or a comparable field.
  • You have many years of professional experience in product development, production and quality assurance with leadership experience.
  • You have already gained experience in international project management and you can convince with your creativity.
  • You have very good MS Office and PDM skills as well as basic SAP knowledge.
  • Furthermore, you convince with your independent way of working, your judgment and your confident appearance.
  • Good communication skills, flexibility and the ability to work in a team complete your profile.
  • You enjoy occasional business trips and have very good German and English skills.
