What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in strategy development and costing scenarios related to client discussions
- Collaborate with clients to identify relevant cost measures and assist in benchmarking discussions
- Set and review health care budget rates for self-insured plans, presenting results to clients
- Develop models to evaluate cost-saving scenarios and perform supporting analyses for IBNP reserve development
- Create client reports and correspondence, ensuring high-quality deliverables through peer review
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five years of health and benefits actuarial work experience
- Previous experience at a Human Resources Consulting firm, Outsourcing firm, Broker, or Health Insurance Carrier
- ASA actuarial designation or progress toward achieving ASA
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in developing cost models and client reports

- Experience in large account management and leading smaller actuarial engagements
- Familiarity with health analytics and innovative solutions in the actuarial field
- Advanced skills in data analysis and benchmarking methodologies
