      Reporting to the Global Head of Corporate Real Estate and Business Services (CRBS), the North America Head of Business Services will be the functional lead to manage all business services for AIG’s real estate portfolio in North America, which currently totals approximately 145 offices spread over 2 million square feet. The role will be the lead vendor manager for all primary business services vendors including food, pantry, conference services, mail, file, print, office supplies, fleet, etc. The role will partner with our facilities management team who will manage the day-to-day implementation of these services. The role will directly manage our New York, New Jersey and Connecticut offices services and will directly liaise with AIG’s executive office. The role will be hospitality focused and strives to deliver strong customer service.

      Leadership Accountabilities:

      • Member of the CRBS leadership team
      • Overall accountability for delivering best in experience to the employee and guests in our offices
      • Work with counterparts and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of services in accordance with best-in-class service standards
      • Motivate and inspire staff, business partners and vendors
      • Be connected to the industry to understand latest trends and benchmark


      Responsibilities:

      • Develop strong vendor relationships and oversight to ensure high level of client service
      • Promptly respond to and action client requests and feedback
      • Ensure smooth delivery of services on a daily basis
      • Look to consolidate number of vendors and assist Procurement with sourcing new vendors
      • Anticipate the needs of clients and proactively introduce and test new ideas
      • Building close relationships with clients, especially with senior leadership, to stay in tune with their needs
      • Create standards around service delivery to ensure it is consistent from office to office
      • Motivate staff and vendors to proactively go the extra mile in terms of service delivery


      Qualifications:

      • Minimum 10 years in real estate and 5 years of experience in management or supervisory capacity.
      • Proven success leading business services across many locations
      • Demonstrated leadership and adaptability when facing unique challenges encountered.
      • Very strong written, spoken and presentation communication skills.
      • Strong client service skills and ability to manage multiple competing demands.
      • Highly influential and ability to flex leadership style according to the situation.
      • Demonstrated success partnering with multi-discipline senior executives in service delivery.
      • Experience managing a high-performing team of service delivery professionals.
      • Recent experience leading though significant change, growth, and innovation.
      • Insurance/ Financial Services experience preferred.

      The base salary range for this position in Jersey City is $175,000 - $215,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
