      Job Description

      We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Avaloq as the head of web and mobile banking. Acting as the global head of the division you will be accountable for Avaloq's Web and Mobile Banking offering, acting as a general manager for the product development organization. In this key position you will support the team in designing and delivering solutions that enable our clients to differentiate themselves by means of convenient and always available self-services.

      Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be part of a talented and highly-motivated group who is ready to make a serious impact for our clients and to the industry using your experience, optimism, and energy to define, design to build our next generation of products and services.

      What will you do:

      People management

      • Inspire with your hands-on and servant leadership attitude
      • Foster and support professional growth of team members
      • Promote a can-do and collaboration culture

      Leadership:

      • Communicate proactively within your division and Avaloq as well as with clients and partners
      • Resolve both external and internal conflicts with empathy, positivity, and flexibility
      • Take accountability as single point of contact and enable the organization to scale through delegation
      • Set priorities and organize your division

      Delivery:

      • Define, drive and enable key objectives
      • Optimize the organisation and implement measures for increased productivity, quality and reliability
      • Advise line managers, product managers and software architects on key decisions
      • Support the client management and sales team by providing relevant artefacts (presentations, factsheets etc.) or by direct involvement in pitches and workshops
      • Shape and manage divisional budget

      Strategy and product

      • Define the strategy and product roadmap for Avaloq’s web and mobile banking
      • Collaborate to define the overall Avaloq product and services strategy

      Qualifications

      • You have a strong demonstrable proven track record of managing complex software product development organizations for wealth management, financial services, or digital banking platforms
      • You have a technical background allowing you to challenge and advise the team on key topics and decisions
      • You are a skilled negotiator and discussion partner, capable of engaging with senior management, including C-suite executives using your strong technical and business acumen
      • You are an experienced leader that exhibits gravitas, leadership and problem solving skills with a "get things done" attitude and object oriented approach
      • You will be articulate and confident in English with the ability to confidently deliver complex and challenging content and messaging

      Desirable:

      • Professional Fluency in German
      • Professional experience in web and/or mobile banking
