What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide expert guidance across all major Head Start content areas, including education, health, nutrition, and social services
- Utilize OHS systems for tracking, documentation, and analysis to support program needs
- Prepare clear summaries, data briefs, and presentations for OHS leadership
- Deliver on-site, group, and virtual training on governance, program management, and oversight
- Assist with the development of materials to support policy, strategy, and program implementation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in early childhood education, public administration, social sciences, public policy, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting Head Start/Early Head Start programs or federal early childhood initiatives
- 2+ years of experience supporting federal program initiatives or high-priority national projects
- 2+ years of experience providing training or technical assistance in early childhood, governance, or fiscal oversight
- US government-issued security clearance required (will be initiated upon hire)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience working within HHS, ACF, or OHS
- Deep knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards and program operations
- Familiarity with Smartsheet or other real-time data systems
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with program data, quantitative analysis, and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
