      Job Overview

      We are seeking a dependable Install Operator to join our growing team. In this role, you will support equipment operators, pipefitters, and demolition technicians with the installation of fueling tanks and piping at municipal facilities and gas station sites throughout the Twin Cities metro area. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who take pride in quality work, teamwork, and building a long-term career in construction.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Assist with the installation of fueling tanks and underground/aboveground piping
      • Perform general labor duties including material handling, digging, grading, and concrete work
      • Operate equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free jobsite
      • Use hand and power tools efficiently and correctly
      • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors as needed
      • Follow all safety procedures and company standards

      Required Qualifications

      • Valid Class A CDL
      • 2+ years of experience in construction, earthwork, or hardscaping
      • Experience operating or working around heavy equipment
      • Strong working knowledge of hand and power tools
      • Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills
      • Willingness to submit to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Hazmat certification
      • Electrical or mechanical repair experience
      • Customer service or client-facing experience

      Work Environment & Schedule

      This is a physically demanding role requiring work outdoors in varying conditions, including oil, water, dirt, and mud. The job involves lifting, hauling hoses, and manual labor.

      • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30/7:00 AM to 3:00–3:30 PM
      • Occasional Saturday work as needed
      • Team-based environment where everyone works together to get the job done

      Job Type & Location

      This is a Permanent position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, MN.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.

      Family environment, 11 paid holidays, and 4 weeks PTO after 90 days. We have worked with Zahl since 2019, and everyone placed is still with the company.
