What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, chat, or email
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Research questions using available information resources
- Advise users on appropriate actions to take for technical issues
- Follow standard help desk procedures and log all help desk interactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and remote control
- Good understanding of computer systems, LAN/WAN, mobile devices, and other tech products
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience or a combination of education and IT-related certifications (A+/Sec+)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a help desk or technical support role
- Familiarity with help desk software administration
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
