What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide exemplary customer service to users via phone, chat, and email
- Assist customers with software and tools, including NetID, DUO Accounts, and learning software
- Collaborate with DoIT staff to resolve customer inquiries and ensure case resolution
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
- Engage in teamwork and collaboration with other student employees and full-time staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be enrolled as a student in the greater Madison area
- Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours/week, including at least 8 hours between 7am and 5pm Monday to Thursday
- Willingness to work through Fall 2024 and Spring 2025
- Attention to detail and a strong desire to learn
- No prior experience necessary; all training will be provided
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Familiarity with troubleshooting software/hardware, user accounts, and internet connectivity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
