What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide first-level Help Desk support for the Office of Information Systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for local and remote users
- Offer support for desktop, mobile, and cloud-based technology to students, faculty, and staff
- Enter trouble tickets into the Help Desk ticketing system and escalate advanced support requests as necessary
- Monitor system logs for errors and control the execution of batch jobs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and wireless configuration, including TCP/IP protocols
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot Mac and PC computers and their operating systems (Windows 10 & MacOS)
- Ability to set up and support mobile devices, including iOS and Android
- Effective communication skills at both technical and end-user levels, both orally and in writing
- A+ Certification or equivalent
