What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking IS support, providing basic troubleshooting and issue triaging
- Perform password resets and manage ticketing inquiries effectively
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 and Tier 3 Help Desk Support Technicians as needed
- Ensure a positive customer service experience while addressing employee concerns
- Maintain familiarity with HIPAA regulations and handle sensitive patient information appropriately
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- IT support experience, help desk, or customer service experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with telecommunication and ticketing systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or Certified Healthcare Technology Specialist (CHTS)
- Experience using CRM or ticketing systems like ServiceNow
- Knowledge of secure communication tools to maintain HIPAA compliance
- Understanding of various operating systems and devices, including Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
