What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage user Active Directory accounts and process user account forms
- Provide hardware and software installation, break/fix support, and desk-side assistance
- Set up and troubleshoot hybrid meetings using various online platforms
- Offer IT support via phone, chat, and email while creating self-help guides
- Utilize service desk management systems to log and track incidents and service requests
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Silver Spring, MD
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience providing IT support, including complex desktop and network issues
- Proven experience in IT customer support
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent certification
- Familiarity with audio-visual systems and conferencing technologies
- Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of both Mac and PC hardware and operating systems
- Understanding of basic computer networking concepts
