What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to IT support requests from employees via ticketing, phone, email, or in-person
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications
- Provide training and guidance to employees on the use of IT systems and software
- Document and track support requests and resolutions in the help desk system
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent 2 years of industry experience
- Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift IT equipment of 30 lbs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer-oriented role focusing on excellent service
