What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and maintain confidentiality for federal and state assessment programs, including STAAR/STAAR-Alt2
- Train staff on procedures and guidelines related to the Texas State Assessment Program
- Assist with the interpretation and distribution of assessment results to campus staff
- Design and curate TEKS-aligned digital content within Schoology for virtual instruction
- Monitor student engagement and provide support through virtual office hours
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized, accredited college or university; master’s degree preferred
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- A minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as a secondary classroom teacher
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience in using Excel for managing data
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced proficiency in Schoology and Google Workspace for Education
- Knowledge of Section 504/ADA digital compliance
- Basic proficiency in multimedia production, including screen recording and video editing
- Commitment to completing state-mandated professional development aligned with National Standards for Quality Online Courses
