Woods Cove Inn is looking for a full-time House Attendant to join the team! The House Attendant will be responsible for the cleaning of all public and common areas and assistance with housekeeping, maintenance, and laundry.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Clean entire grounds of trash and cigarette butts.
• Run laundry and empty housekeepers’ trash.
• Clean lobby, exterior windows, hallways, walkways, railings, stairwells, pool furniture, ice and vending machines.
• Maintain cleanliness of dumpster areas, sand urns, exterior light fixtures, public benches, exterior of guest room doors.
• Shampoo carpets as assigned.
• Turn mattresses as assigned.
• Clean guestroom sliding glass doors as assigned.
• Report any missing/found articles, or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Assist maintenance department with basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry).
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: Basic cleaning skills. Basic maintenance skills helpful. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Ability to communicate in English with guests, management and fellow team members to their understanding desirable. Dependable.
