Provides operational support to more experienced HRBPs in the implementation and ongoing management of all Succession Planning, Diversity & Inclusion, Performance Management and Top Performer identification strategies and programs within assigned Company or Staff Agency.
Supports more experienced HRBPs with the management of workforces plans for assigned Company or Staff Agency.
May consult with assigned business leaders to understand business strategy/drivers and identify corresponding HR capabilities required to achieve operational and strategic priorities.
May lead moderately complex Organization Design efforts.
Provide business inputs and feedback to HR through the CoEs, Solutions Delivery and HRBP Lead to improve the effectiveness and relevance of HR policies, programs and services.
Provide project and task management support to HRBP organization.
Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
4 or more years of relevant work experience in one or more human resource disciplines, or general business consulting/analysis or business management experience, to include 2 or more years experience in leading cross-functional teams or projects requiring strong collaboration, facilitation and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to assess and make decisions of a complex nature that aligns to Enterprise and/or CoSA objectives.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels within the assigned CoSAs or functions.
Experience/Knowledge of the following:
Experience as an HRBP supporting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and/or Fraud lines of business.
Experience with HR Talent Management/Talent Development.
Experience working for a large Financial Services company.

As a dedicated HR Business Partner (Mid-Level), you will serve as the primary focal point for Human Resources strategies, issues and needs of an assigned group of Staff Agencies or Business. You will identify Human Resources implications of both strategic and operational plans being proposed by the staff agency or business.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position will be based in the San Antonio, TX office location.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

HR Planning and Development: Knowledge of and ability to plan and develop an organization's HR operations in order to increase individual and organizational effectiveness.
Business Acumen: Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve the problems in the best interest of the business.
Relationship Management: Ability to establish and build healthy working relations and partnerships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Proficient knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $81,770.00 - $156,290.00 .
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
