JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Dr. Ansell’s Laboratory in the Department of Biobehavioral Health seeks candidates for two full-time Human Research Technologist positions.
Research in the lab focuses on understanding individual differences in mechanisms underlying vulnerability for substance use and risk behaviors. Responsibilities of the advertised position will include coordinating lab activities, managing recruitment and assessment schedules, completing clinical assessments with participants, managing databases, preliminary data analysis, manuscript development, developing neuroimaging protocols, maintaining REDCap databases, training, and implementing smartphone-based assessments and cognitive testing.

Education and Experience:
All candidates must have strong communication skills, work well in a team, and work carefully, responsibly, and with great attention to detail. This job will be filled as a level 2 or 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires an Associate’s degree or higher (Bachelor's degree preferred) plus 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher-level jobs.
A minimum of one year of experience working within a clinical or research laboratory context is required; preference will be given to candidates with prior experience performing clinical assessments and working with smartphone-based apps and/or neuroimaging protocols. One position requires experience with conducting MRI protocols, programming, and analysis, including preprocessing of data.
