      Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within the Human Resources organization. This HRBP will be responsible for implementing our human capital strategy in support of geographically dispersed clients within the Business Management organization. This is an on-site role in Melbourne, FL, with occasional travel required.

      Essential Functions:

      • Implement Human Resources policies as a generalist, partner with business operations to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives and resolve HR issues.

      • Responsible for and/or serve as a HR liaison for the following areas, but not limited to: succession planning, talent management, employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO, and training and development.

      Additional Background and Experience:

      • Ability to drive HR initiatives (can start with a blank sheet, design a plan/program/process and execute on a timeline).

      • Strong relationship building skills; proven track record of building collaborative partnerships as the basis for being able to influence direction and drive change.

      • Strong consulting skills; able to dissect the root cause or core problem to solve and bring appropriate solutions and resources to bear.

      • Proven track record of being able to assess, diagnose and design creative and innovate organizational solutions.

      • Strong analytical skills; able to translate business strategy into implications for workforce (hiring, shaping, etc.).

      • Strategic thinking – sees the big picture and connects the dots; also dives into the details as necessary.

      • Strong technical competence across one or more HR disciplines: Compensation, Staffing/Talent Acquisition, Leadership Development, Talent Management, Organization Design/Development, Employee Relations.

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree AND 2 years of Strategic Human Resources experience

      • Prior experience with Employee Relations matters

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

      • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top-Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need

      • Ability to support multiple time zones

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Demonstrated experience in prioritizing the work, balancing multiple projects and working across multiple deadlines

      • Proficiency in Workday

      • Previous HR experience in Aerospace & Defense

      • Current and active DoD clearance

      Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00

      The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

      Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
