- Coach and advise business leaders on key people matters to identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities that optimize team and individual performance
- Work closely with managers and employees to execute people initiatives, improve working relationships and increase performance, productivity and retention
- Lead HR programs and processes such as performance management, leadership and talent programs, and continuous feedback across multiple business areas
- Collaborate with managers to implement HR solutions for complex employee relations matters, immigration and global mobility cases, learning and development initiatives
- Utilize HR data, reporting and analytics to proactively identify and address themes and trends in order to recommend effective solutions to business issues
- Build relationships with individuals across the HR function (Diversity & Inclusion, University Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation) to effectively partner in providing information and delivering solutions to client groups
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a solid academic record
- 5-10 years of professional work experience with experience as an HRBP, preferably within financial services
- Ability to pivot between strategy and tactical execution and comfortably navigate ambiguous or “gray” areas
- Commercial approach with an interest in the business, the environment and its people
- Outstanding verbal and communication skills, with poise and confidence to interact with and influence clients at all levels
- Ability to adapt in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly evolving environment
- Ability to problem solve creatively with a proficiency in data analytics
- Demonstrate judgment and integrity in sensitive situations

As an HRBP at Millennium your main responsibility is to partner with our leaders in Trading and Core Infrastructure to understand their strategic objectives then to develop and execute practical people strategies to help achieve them. You will work closely with managers and employees across the firm to ensure they have the right skills, are passionate about their work and are inspired to succeed. Day-to-day this means coaching and guiding managers and individual contributors on efforts like career development, performance management, talent acquisition and retention, training and development, and employee relations. We are looking for someone who can be a trusted advisor to our leaders. Additionally we are also looking for someone who is capable of developing relationships throughout the organization and can roll up their sleeves to accomplish goals.

Qualifications/Skills Required
Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
