      Position Title: Human Resources Generalist

      Job Type: Direct Placement (Permanent)

      Location: In Office, M-F, 8-5pm, 1 hour lunch, Windsor, CT

      Reports To: Human Resources Manager

      Position Overview:

      The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for supporting all positions throughout the US. He/She will promote an employee-oriented, high performance culture with emphasis on recruitment, on-boarding, benefits and general administrative support throughout the organization. This role will also administer policies and procedures, adhering to governmental compliance.

      Description:

      • Will contribute and help lead the execution of HR strategies, programs, best practices and initiatives in partnership and collaboration with business leaders and HR team members in support of the organization.
      • Manages the talent acquisition process, which includes the recruitment, interviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants.
      • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices. Reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
      • Maintain HRMS information and reporting.
      • Assist in administering benefits, compensation and employee performance programs.
      • Assist with processing Worker’s Compensation claims.
      • Other assignments as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.

      Qualifications:

      • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
      • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
      • High ethical value in maintaining confidentiality, integrity and trust.
      • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Effective conflict resolution skills.
      • Self-starter with desire to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
      • Ability to collaborate with, develop and motivate others.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field or equivalent mix of education and experience.
      • Aerospace, and manufacturing experience preferred.
