What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and build out the Human Resources function within the organization
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation
- Partner with managers to assess team structure, skills, and hiring plans
- Lead training initiatives and support employee onboarding and off-boarding processes
- Maintain accurate HR policies and documentation, ensuring compliance with employment laws
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience in a Finance and/or SaaS environment
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and procedures
- Intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- High level of trust, confidentiality, and good judgment in handling sensitive matters
- Superior oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- PHR or SHRM-CP certifications
- Experience in a start-up environment
- Strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to empathize and manage personal emotions effectively
