What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement the employer's talent acquisition strategy for all new projects
- Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees nationwide
- Onboard and train new employees
- Provide management with requested reports and analytical trends
- Coordinate events focused on employee recruitment, retention, and recognition
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or other talent-related fields at a Federal contracting company providing professional services to agencies like the Department of Homeland Security
- Ability to commute to employer locations nationwide on an as-needed basis
- Knowledge of labor and employment laws in California and any other state in the U.S.
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with Federal contractors
- Familiarity with security clearance processes
- Proven ability to build rapport with all employees
- Strong analytical skills for reporting and trend analysis
