  Specific responsibilities of the role:

  To assist in the delivery of signalling engineering projects or development of signalling product within the Alstom DI&S business unit. The signalling engineering apprentice will learn signalling engineering skills through formal academic learning coupled with structured on the job training this will equip the apprentice for a position in signalling design, product development, project engineering, safety assurance or quality, signalling systems. The apprentice will through the apprentice period assist in the delivery of signalling projects or developments by being assigned to work placements.

  • Previous experience

  • Understand the basics of programing logics
  • Python, C++, VB
  • Windows Serever, Linux, Unix (desirable)
  • MS Office package (Excel, Word etc..)
  • SQL Server

  • Language skills

  English intermediate level is mandatory, fluent level is desirable

  Spanish basic level is desirable

  • Travel required - No
