- Performs initial and technical quality review of medical imaging (e.g., PET, SPECT, MRI or CT) for standard non-complex acquisitions.
- Carries out imaging data reconstruction and processing.
- Completes quality control (QC) documentation according to good clinical practice (GCP) and regulatory guidelines.
- Generates and tracks queries to address discrepancies or issues
- May assist others with qualifications, and ongoing support of imaging sites ensuring readiness for subject image acquisition and transfer.
- Monitors site compliance with imaging requirements throughout the study lifecycle.
- May participate in client meetings and provide updates on imaging data status and issues.
- Works closely with internal project managers, radiologists, data managers, and regulatory teams.
- Supports imaging endpoint analysis and contributes to imaging reports and documentation under guidance.
- Assists in the development of SOPs, work instructions, and imaging guidelines under guidance.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external research centers.
- Proficient computer skills, with the ability to navigate various applications and systems.
- Skilled in PET, SPECT, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, CT, and/or other modalities; familiar with DICOM standards and imaging software.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail when reviewing and validating imaging data, with a consistent commitment to data quality and integrity.
- Understanding of imaging protocols, required parameters and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in resolving data queries.
- Familiar with PACS systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Process-focused mindset to ensure consistent and efficient execution of internal procedures.
- Experience with imaging modalities such as PET, SPECT, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, and CT is preferred
- Preferred: Certified medical imaging technologist (e.g., NMTCB, ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine, PET, MRI, and/or CT or a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field
- English: Fluent.

About the role
As Imaging Quality Control and Processing Specialist I, you will be responsible for performing initial review (IR) and technical quality control (QC) review of clinical research imaging across a range of therapeutic areas and imaging modalities under supervision, verifying compliance with trial-specific protocol parameters, and ensuring data is of suitable quality for assessment and quantitative analysis. This review includes verification of compliance with trial and site-specific imaging requirements, review of anatomical coverage, identifying the presence of artifacts which may prevent accurate image interpretation and analysis, and imaging data reconstruction and processing. The Imaging Quality Control & Processing Specialist role is critical as this team optimizes imaging data received by Perceptive and ensures data integrity before read for eligibility and safety, and/or analysis is perform

This role is remote. Candidates located in following states: AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, MA, MO, NH, NJ, NC, PA, VT, VA are preferred. The annual base salary range for this role is $51,139- $94-973. This range represents the anticipated initial annual salary and will vary depending on several factors including the candidate's experience and skills as well as market rate adjustment.
