Conduct research on relevant session topics and guests for the Industry Conference, Talent Development Labs, and industry B2B meetings
Working with the Production Manager, Conference Manager, internal teams and external stakeholders on prioritizing guest speakers, invitations, scheduling, and hospitality logistics
Liaise with the guests, Event Production, and Tech teams on materials, schedules and tech requirements for sessions
Draft copy for session descriptions and announcements for Conference, Labs and other Industry initiatives
Greeting and hosting guest speakers and moderators, and may be required to introduce sessions or moderate Q&As as needed at the Conference and Labs
Provide consistent updates to internal and external stakeholders as required
Provide a detailed post mortem and recommendations on the critical path
Other programming and coordination tasks and duties as assigned
$25.00/Hourly

Minimum 3 years of experience in the Canadian or international film industries or in event production
Experience working with a film festival, preferably in a programming capacity, is an asset
Strong knowledge of Canadian and international film landscapes with a working knowledge of trends, emerging and established filmmakers, and key players
Exceptionally strong administrative, communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of other languages, preferably French, is an asset
Able to handle difficult situations and people with aplomb and grace
Excellent computer skills, and experience with Google Suite applications
Experience with Artifax is an asset
Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
This position requires being in office on a regular basis

We are currently hiring for the position of:PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE, INDUSTRY PROGRAMMING
The Production Associate, Industry Programming will work with the Industry Programming team and external stakeholders to help deliver world class programming for filmmakers and industry professionals. The position plays a vital role in researching, planning and executing a number of initiatives including group sessions and one-on-one meetings. They will provide onsite support at the Industry Conference and Talent Development Labs.
