  Infosys is seeking an Informatica Developer . In this role, y ou will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. Y ou will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.   Key Responsibilities:
  

  • Participate and contribute to the requirements elicitation process and create requirements documentation.
  • Support the “Release” plan and manage assigned activities in the plan.
  • Perform root-cause analysis of any issues that arise post-implementation and work on appropriate solutions.
  • Participate in Knowledge Transfer sessions, prepare system appreciation documents and support the transition process.
  • Conduct impact analysis of issues logged, prioritize, and ensure that production support is provided as per committed SLAs.

  
  Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located or willing to relocate within commuting distance of San Antonio, TX area . This position may require travel in the US.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of dynamic experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in Informatica ETL
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle, SQL, Unix/Linux shell scripting
  • Experience with supporting and maintenance of Informatica applications.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Capital Market/Asset Management domain.
  • Strong communication and Analytical skills
  • Understanding of Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured Data
  • Understanding of Agile software development frameworks
  • Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams.
  • Basic understanding of data integration, data quality and data architecture
  • Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

  
  The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
