      Job Description

      Permanent full-time opportunity for an Information Security Analyst to join our team in Scoresby, Melbourne or Canberra to support the development of the Australian Defence Force's Health Knowledge Management System. In this role you will maintain accreditation & certification of software systems and your responsibilities will include:

      • Author and contribute to the design and definition of the security solution components
      • Work with the engineering team and architects on solutions and alignment to existing and pipeline security solutions
      • Assist in managing the information security architecture of the evolving design of the solution, including the integration with security models of external systems
      • Ensure that information security requirements to be met by the supported systems are adequately and unambiguously defined
      • Maintain and support certification and accreditation of the supported systems through updates to the security documentation suite in line with relevant policy, processes and frameworks (PSPF, DSPF, ISM)
      • Assist in the management of information security procedures to meet program requirements, and coordination of information security incident responses
      • Coach and mentor others to foster security awareness and foster a strong security culture.

      Qualifications

      About You and What You'll Bring

      • Baseline or above Australian Government Security clearance
      • Substantial professional experience with security management, architecture, certification and accreditation
      • Experience in Defence information assurance requirements including the Australian Government Information Security Manual
      • Knowledge and exposure to systems and enterprise architecture, systems engineering, software and ICT engineering and interface protocols
      • Experience working on large, complex ICT systems and in Defence ICT.
      • Highly developed written & oral communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
