Job Description:
The Secure by Design Case Manager role is responsible for the overall management and execution of the Secure by Design Evaluation (SBDE) request. The Case Manager serves as the central point of contact for customers across the request to efficiently evaluate application and development changes, information security events, or governance triggered projects. The execution of the SBDE request will be managed by the assigned Case Manager and includes completion of required SBD artifacts according to defined criteria and documentation of findings for associated applications. The role ensures that Bank of America continuously develops cyber secure technologies that adhere to internal policies as well as industry best practices. In addition, the team may be asked to provide technical support to the client, management, and lines of business in risk assessments and implementation of appropriate data security procedures and products.
Required Skills:
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cyber security or a technology-related field.

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work with minimal supervisionDesired Skills:
• Experience in vulnerability assessment, security incident response, application security.
• Experience evaluating threats/risks posed by new technologies spanning networks, hardware, software, etc.
• Ability to evaluate technology to ensure cyber-secure development that adheres to internal application policy, standards, and baselines.
• Experience in analyzing and responding to advanced cyber threats, technology risk and the motivation/attack vectors of each threat.
• Knowledge in Application security, Risk assessments, Cloud technologies, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) with emphasis on security processes and controls
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, information security or related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Optional Certifications: CISSP (ISC2), CISA, CRISC, CISM (ISACA), CCIE (Cisco), TOGAF, CCTA (McAfee), CCFP (ISC2).Enterprise Role Overview - Provides support to information security officers who partner directly with line of business leaders. Has a deep understanding of the business and information security in order to have specialized information security risk-based discussions. Utilizes knowledge of application development and/or application security, including the Software Delivery Life Cycle from design, testing and deployment to post production. May participate in more complex Secure by Design efforts as new technology is deployed. Ensures technology is secure when used by partners and vendors. Provides guidance and expertise to information security officers on risk elements associated with each step of the Secure by Design process to ensure adherence to information security policies. Typically has 3-5 years of relevant experience.
